What do you guys think about using tirzepatide for 12 weeks to help with weight loss? I would like to lose about 30 pounds. I'm currently about 238 pounds. Do you think that 1 mg a week would work well or should I try something else?
The guys above are correct. Tirzepatide should not be used for just 12 weeks. You need to have a longer-term goal as it takes a long time to reach peak concentration.

Tirzepatide doesn’t lose weight for you. It helps you to control your appetite and reduce food noise. Prescription tirzepatide starts at 2.5mg per week. But I agree with the 1mg starting point. The most effective dose is the one that helps you stick to your diet and isn’t strong enough to give you nausea. (1mg won’t)
Not sure where you are from bro but I used @Prymal ’s tirz and found it super effective. This is Australia based though.

Tirzepatide has a long half-life. It won't reach peak for at least five to six weeks into it so I would definitely run it once a week at 2 to 3 mg a week.

In trials, significant clinical effects were seen at 24 weeks and maximum therapeutic benefits were reached at 48 weeks. Starting dose was 2.5mg and doses up to 15mg were trialed. I'd start at 2.5mg and titrate up from there.
