i want to get a tire to flip. where can i find one and how much should it weigh? i am 6 2 185 and can dead 405 and squat 350 if that matters for the tire weight.

i think a good one to get would be around 500 pounds

look at farms, rock quarries, road construction sites, any place with large equipment

i got mine froma place that sells and deals w/industrial size tires like off earth moving vehicles and they give old ones to ya so they dont have to pay to get rid of them. 23.5/25 12ply i have is 600lbs, but 23.5/25 16 ply was like 550

hey thanks fors the adivce i have been lookin garound at those places an havnt seen any yet . thanks for the advice on weight by size king79 that will halp me alot. my uncle works on cats but he lives 500 miles away so maybe i just need to find a way to get them from him.

Whats your bodyfat %? Must be pretty low... you can lift alot for your weight. Good job

Animalmass found a bunch of tires at a local rock quarry just laying around. He was kind enough to pick one up for me, and I will be picking it up from him July 5th!! It's 900 lbs!!!

I think he found a few that size, and a smaller one as well.

i went to get one and the guy said "its only one size bigger than the 550 one so shouldnt be much difference" it's worn down but i found out that it is 890lbsnew.lol so that 'll be collecting dust for a while.
