Tip for thawing chicken / other meats

Recently discovered a cool way to thaw out almost any completely frozen meat in about 15 mins. First freeze the meat inside of a ziplock bag. Then just put the bag it in hot water (not boiling), and the meat will thaw rather quickly. This saves me a ton of time, and it is easier to grill food on the fly instead of making it all in one day. Hope this helps.....

and the microwave

if you must use hot water you should cook it right away

while the interior is still frozen the bacteria on the surface have a chance to multiply at a faster rate than with cool water
