I am curious to know how many body builders prefer to wear thongs to the beach? I was quite skinny in high school and would have never considered one. Now that I have become more developed (including glutes), thongs are definitely my choice of swimwear. They are actually very comfortable and the tan lines are superior to dork shorts. I am also curious to see how many women like or dislike this look. Unfortunately alot of people seem to think that male thong wearers must be gay. These are usually the types of people that do not have the physizue or guts to wear one I find (usually).
 
I am not a fav of things on men. Just doesn't look right. I can see the point of tan lines etc. but out in public it is tacky.
 
IF you have the glutes, quads and abs.....why not wear a speedo style suit and show off your hard work and results?

they were pretty common in the ft. lauderdale - miami area

but it is hard to show off legs, you pretty much already have to be in bed with a chick for her to see them

or at least in shorts, then again they only see calves

kinda sucks, i wouldn't mind more opportunities to show off the legs

but not with thongs lol

Every German flying to foreign shores has a nasty beach thong hidden in their luggage. Some kind of prerequisite for leaving the country, boarding pass, passport, thong etc.

anyhow seen him later that night at nikki beach wearing a fucking purple leotard.. doing some crazy ass dance all by himself..

Boy tough crowd. I guess I should have posted a different question for my 1st time. Sounds like a lot of stereotypical people in here. My opinion is that if you have it, flaunt it. If you are comfortable with your body, why wouldn't you want to show it? Most guys just don't plain have the guts or are homophobes. On the contrary, too many men that shouldn't wear them do. To each their own I guess. The beach is the perfect place to show your confidence. Their is minimal clothing to begin with. What is wrong with slightly more skin? Don't be prudes.

suprisingly enough, the only bb show i've ever attended i saw dudes wearing both.
the thong is understandable for posing i guess...but the creepy bb'er "spectator" dudes were wearing daisy duke cutoff jeans.
