THIS is why I want a GTO (vid inside)

Not a whole lot. LS2 six speed manuals pull about 335whp, and his was rated at 393. GTO's are just fast fucking cars, period. The bottom end is plenty strong enough to run a 150 wet shot with no issues. 485whp would be about an 11.0 car with a quick shifting chica at the wheel. :D

Many peeps are gotten awesome service out of the autos. It seems to be kinda hit or miss. That's why I want the manual.

You won't run that fast with a manual. Especially your 60ft times.

someone i know bought one

then another guy i know bought one

guy number 1 lost his license for speeding for 6 months

other guy wrapped his around a lightpole

my town is once again a GTO free zone ;)

been thinking about this car for SCCA...whats the cost off the floor?...alot of ponies for a stock small car...nice lines. whats up with the tranny? (is it weak?)

I actually own a 2004 impulse red m6 gto and let me be the first to tell ya it's a very under rated vehicle. Quite a few people have said that they look like a grand prix but whenever I look at mine I can't help but think they're insane. The only issue i've had with mine is the irs is pretty shitty and puts stress on the outside of the tire to which i've already gone through 2 sets of rears in under 30k miles of "spirited driving". The best i've managed with mine in stock form is 13.6 on streets but some people have hit as low as 13.2-13.1 with excellent 60ft times. For the money it is comparable to an M3 bmw. Remember this is not a general motors car this is actually a holden morano from australia shipped over and put GTO badges on it. It's like a european sports sedan, it's quick and comfortable and you won't find a better interior in anything wearing a gm badge. Hope you enjoy yours as much as I enjoy mine.

You wouldnt, but I would.

The GMM race shifter for $300 and my experience with driving powerful manual equipped cars is all I need.

Word on the street is that Rottenbeaner knows how to handle the Shaft....
But she can also work a mean Clam clutch as well.

Do you want this as a daily driver or for drag only ? If for drag and assuming you're into big american muscle...

Daily driver. I'm not looking to make it into a major drag machine. 95% of my driving would be piddling around in traffic, hence my choice to go N20. Major hp only when I want it.

No I dont like Camaros and Firebirds at all. I think they look redneckish, whereas the Holden Monaro (GTO) looks very understated.

a bit too subtle. I'm not sure what you're getting at.

I'm getting at the fact that you likely can drive anything or anyone
to their full erotic potential. Regardless of their chromosomal makeup

Chics who drive sticks = sexy hot.

Speaking of Hot Chics and Vehicles... Jeeps and Super Bikes..

I saw a totally hot chick sitting and leaning over on her Crotch Rocket at a stoplight. I sat staring for like 4 seconds after my light turned green. **honk

I actually own an 04. I installed a procharger, lt headers and I trap at 115. It dynos at 485rwhp on a conservative tune. Buy one, you wont ever regret it.

"realty car"??? You sell real estate in it? I always heard that minivans and SUVs were better for real estate agents, when shuffling customers around to different sites.

a bunch of us have hit the sub 2.0's stock. I believe 1.7 is the best stock manual 60ft. a guy has hit 1.5's with a manual, tons of suspension work, 15 inch rims with sticky drag radials

Hey bro, just bought a 93 twin turbo RX7 today. I've always wanted one of the twin turbo cars, now I finally have one. Now I have to wait for it to be delivered to me (8-12 days :( )

It has some of the basic mods that you want on one as a starting point, new motor, supra fuel pump, full exhaust system, 18inch rims. Red with tan int. right now (touring model with R1 front and rear spoilers added). Will eventually be black on black with faceless 99 front end and hopefully running in the 11's
