These rediculous strongman events

whats with all the stupid crap they make strongman competitors do when its on tv>?

put some sort of stupid decoration thats supposed to be funny on the attributes or think of some stupid rule thats only to make it more appealing to stupid people...

today i saw an austrian summer giants event and they had powerstairs in there and the grips on these cases were way thin, wobbled, and rusty. none of the guys could grip jack shit after this event they all tore their hands up.

of course these cases looked all nice as being really heavy crates of beer.....

Hmmm..what channel was that on? It wasn't the WSM for sure...they always use good equipment. A lot of times, when they have local or small strongman contests...they have really poor equipment. The better contests, like the ones I try to compete in, use top notch equipment.

As long as they keep moving in the direction of speed events...he will continue to do well.

John Perry was a stongman competitor from the USA and around 4 weeks ago he died. I think he was only 28 years old. I've been trying to find information on what happened but all I found was a tribute from one of his friends and fellow strongman competitor Magnus Samuelson. Anyone hear about this?
