Sad day for college basketball, sad day for the UNC program, great day for those boys, I guess...
College basketball is becoming more and more about the $, and less and less about the university. I got word from several in the know at UNC that the boys wanted to go as far as they could in the NCAAs to show their skills, and to up their stock for the draft... They were playing their ass off , not for UNC, but for themselves.
Thats just the way it is these days, too much money. Can't blame the kids.
It may be better to recruit outside the top 100 ranked HS players and leep them 4 years and develop a team instead of one and gone McDonalds All-Americans.
