The rices VERSUS pastas!!!

Say you were dieting, would you prefer, or what do you feel has a better profile, Jasmine rice (organic) or 100% organic whole wheat pasta? Jst kickn around a little.............is one better than the other when combined with healthy fats, and protein??? Before white rice used to be thought of as a horrid evil, now people change their tuned due to the gly. index being comparable to brown....hell, swolecat reccomends white over brown simply because it tastes better, just a tad less fiber....thoughts?
 
i don't think there is anything wrong with whole wheat pasta when dieting...i wouldn't eat it every night but a few times a week is ideal i think.

What do you feel like eating? (psssst... pasta made from barley flour is better than either... :) )

I like em both, just needed a change as I've had pasta all week and feeling sorta bloated, thought the rice may make me feel a little lighter and give me more energy.........just hope it holds me over for 2+ hours pretraining.....

also going on the ANPB diet JKurz style...1 jar a day is my goal.........
 
pasta from barley flour....sounds tassssty!!! LOL...Ill give it a shot, thanks...maybe some homemade pasta and cheese..........w. tuna! mmmm
