Assuming your source did not waive the signature then, yes, i'd think it would be OK.

Just be alert for anything out of the ordinary at the post office... like people that seem out of place or anything like that- i'm sure you have nothing to worry about though.

This exact thing happened to a buddy of mine recently. He lives in a small town and the delivery guy fucked up. He let it sit there for several days...and emailed the source and was scared shitless...no problem in the end

Bro, I really don't think you have anything to worry about. I have packages that I miss all the time and have to go and sign for them. It is a procedure they have to do. The only way I would worry about it is if something seems out of ordinary. Or you dont trust your source. But then again, stranger things have happend.

If it's a small order I doubt he has anything to worry about to begin with. But from seeing this happen to people they usually will not wait all day every day waiting for you to show up. Rather, they will redeliver with a controlled delivery if they really wanted to "get you".

If you were not present to sign for it when delivery was attempted then it is standard practice to leave a notice for you to pick it up.

I just did it today. Certain countries are automatically registered. I had a package from Thialand and was nevous, but after talking to my regular postman everthing seemed normal. I went down and picked it up. NO Problem.

Like I said, some countries are automatically sent registered. It has no baring on wether your source sent it that way or not.
