its a kind of documentary on TLC about a woman with no legs, and a rather short torso. she has an average face (at best), and has to drag herself around on her hands. she gets around on a skateboard and has managed to land a rather caring, normal husband. amazingly, she got pregnant and carried the baby to term and was able to care for it and have a healthy son.

since her mother died, her and her husband moved back to her TINY family home, where her schizophrenic father, who is now suffering from dimentia lives. He is on oxygen from emphazema. read: total fucking mess.
Also in the house, is her big fat super retarded violent brother, and this woman's husband and son. this woman who has to climb stairs on her hands takes care of all of them.

I caught part of that tonite. Its amazing how resilient people can be. Sometimes the biggest challenge that they are presented with is just the intolerance and ignorance of other people. Removing that one aspect, I expect most people w/ challenges like this lady can accomplish amazing things just by working with what God gave them.

this woman didn't WANT to take on so much... her mom died and left her insane father and retarded brother without anyone to care for them... before she could get there, her father gave the keys to the family car to the retarded son, who crashed it of course. He can barely speak.
