The Filetr Stole My Gear

I just got a filter because i noticed some things floating in my stuff. I ran out 5 ml through and got about 2 1/2 back??????
Any thoughts.....never done this before

Sounds like a case of too little liquid and too much filter-

You probably have too big of a filter for the amount of liquid (that is too big of a diameter) Any filter will need to first "wet" with the liquid... so that portion will not be released after filtering...

Next time try a smaller diameter filter.. the filtering will go slower (less cross section for it to pass through), but you will get less loss from the "wetting" of the filter

I am not sure but you may try to push some air trough it. Pull the stopper back and then shot air into the filter..........TAPOUTM

Yes, pushlots of air or some oil through it, or flush with acetone, and let it evaporate.
