Taser in action

Nice arrest control technique after he stopped with the taser. Well you can't say the officer didn't at least try and do it the easy way but some people just need a good tasing.

Tasers are being used more and more within LE agencies. Tasers are more effective than OC spray, especially against a seasoned criminal who has had his/her share of OC baths.

He was probably using the M26... that is 50,000 volts. Less than a "stun gun" but more effective.
 
I got a taser pulled on me by a cop during a fight downtown once. They carry the ones that look like glocks and they pull them pretty frequently. I am glad he didn't use it on me. A buddy of mine is a prison guard and they recently had to go through taser training. Part of their training was getting hit with one. He said it was not very much fun. He has been maced, OC'd, stun gunned and shit, but he said that was the worst.

My police friends say the same thing, that the taser is just awful.

if I was the man I too woulda taken the tazer beating. I would hate to submit to a motherfucking cop.

Or if I did submit, I would be cussing at him the entire way back to the station. I'd make it hell for him.

You'd be curled up in the fetal position, crying like a baby. That cop handled the situation very well.

He did, I'll admit. Handled it well for a cop.

But no one should have legal authority to cuff you up and arrest you, and definately not taser you, or scream at you like you are their bitch.

I guess I have a problem with the system.

You have a problem with authority, certianly. For cops to not be able to do what you said there might as well not be any law. If you can not use means of enforcement then law is meaningless.
 
I wanna try my hand held tazer/zapper. It is a scorpion and I wanna see how it feels. But i am a scared fuck to try it on myself. The instructions says it cause some pain..no shit

true, unless people were to just follow it out of respect (and in a lot of cases that wouldnt happen.)

Yeah, I definately have a problem with authority, especially when they have the right to get physical and do things by force.

I wish we could go back the Wild West days, where people solved problems on their own.

Sell them before it's too late cause most PDs here are now putting on the ice the Tasers. The RCMp was planning a massive deployment but it's not going to happen anytime soon since we had 4 Tasers related deaths.

It was suppose to be the next best thing, better than OC and almost replace handguns but nada senor... shit works half of the time. Saw the dude on the video ? According to Taser Inc. he shouldnt have been moving after the first hit. Some folks can actually walk normal. So now mounties are back to the usual pistol-ASP-OC. Period.

And the cop on the video showed poor skills. For God's sake, that suspect was dead drunk, how come he couldnt just put him into submission ? The Taser (and OC spray too) is a good excuse for low level cops, out of shape donut eaters and all that crap. He didnt have technique, he was just cuffing a dead horse. In fact, a 82yr old granny could have beaten the shit out of the guy under the same circumstances.
 
I know there is a lot of speculation about it right now but the company has first move advantage, all the important taser patents, lots of insider ownership, and is actually still signing up clients like crazy.
I don't own that much of it, but cool info. manny we'll see what happens :)
 
That wimp only took 5-6 shots and he was a pancake....my dog Rodney King woulda gone 9-10 at least. I bet Kimbo is good for 15+.

Well at the time a taser is used the gun would have normally been employed so the result is the same. That's why tasers are classified as "Less Lethal" because odds are it won't kill you but it can. Whereas taking a couple slugs to the heart is a pretty fatal happenstance.

That Taser must not have worked that well if he still kept saying "NO" after being hit. I wonder if PD's can set the voltage level on those things. Maybe they set thers to a real low setting. In essence, lowering the effectiveness of it.

I agree -- it's for fat cops. Any LAPD officer would've cold-cocked the guy, and landed him face-first into the concrete and cuffed within seconds. I take it this was a highway patrol "AAA with a badge" officer. Figures.
