Tapering off cycle

Aussi muscle

New member
Has been on my mind for a while and would just like some of your thoughts on tapering down at the end of cycle. If its easier to recover from a lower dose cycle, why wouldn't tapering off work ? Would it work better with a shorter life aas or a longer life (prop/cyp) ? Maybe a slow drop from 500-400-300-200 of test E over 4 weeks for example ? Would it be a waste over a 12 week cycle or should it be done at say 16+ ?

Long ester testosterone tapers itself. Tapering is not needed. If you run your cycle and your shut down for 12 weeks then decide to taper after that you are just prolonging shutdown even further. Doesnt matter if your shut down from 100mg wk or 750mg wk your body still gets the signal that exogenus test is in the system telling you your shut down.
4 weeks is not enough time for a 12+ week cycle of test to clear the body completely. You need to research half life of Cyp, Enat, decanoate ect.

Tapering is outdated, outmoded philosophy.

Yeah researched half lives of all tests, just was wondering about it and wanted some opinions, thanks for that man, was just curious

Ultimately you are shut down anyway...and reducing the dosage towards the ends wont make a dam bit of difference...you will be no less shut down.
your body still see's the exogenus test and says fuck it... the ester clears and you help your hpta recover with a good pct .

yup its been answered but i will add that even a small amount of leftover AAS in your system will not allow your body to take over, so essentially there is no such thing as tapering down.

people who run a deca ester learn this the hard way. they will actually run pct and then declare themselves recovered. but the reality is they still have the ester in their body weeks and weeks after last injection and then run into problems because essentially they had no pct.. I call this over shooting the ester and it comes from the lack of understanding of half lives by not just newbs but also guys who have been juicing years and years who don't understand just how long oils stick around

Bingo^

This is exactly why tapering is a bad idea and not needed

I wouldn't. As another said, the compounds taper themselves. I personally like proviron as tail end in a test cycle to ease transition into PCT.

The only times tapering applies anymore are in the instances of HGH where you need to taper up in the beginning to your desired dose. Or possibly an old school Dbol only taper cycle. Maybe ever a slight taper when trying something oral and strong like anadrol. Those are about the only instances I can think of where the tapering philosophy would even apply.

Thank you all for your responses, cleared everything up. There's so much conflicting info on the net these days, appreciate the time and knowledge you guys share

I was just about going to comment on those Two compounds

I've ran many a Dbol cycle tapering, both include tapering to find that sweet spot!
