Tampa people.....

Aren't people from Tampa called Tampons?
 
Getting an Imaging job at a hospital for the summer, and possibly for the school year, too.
 
YBOR IS SIMILAR TO BOURBON STREET. ONLY A LOT CLEANER AND DOESNT SMELL AS BAD. OH YEAH, NOT AS MANY HOMOSEXUALS EITHER. BETTER CLUBS TO. NOT AS MANY MEAN AS COPS EITHER. OH, AND NOT AS MANY CHIX FLASHING TITS ON BALCONIES AND IN THE SCREET (YES, SCREET). WEATHER ISNT AS BAD EITHER.

hehehehe!! Sorry, wasn't logged in for a few days! Yes, I TOTALLY ENJOYED MY meal and my Zuccatto Cake at Maggiano's.....got some in the fridge for later, too!!!:p

I think we might go to Prana or Hyde Park Cafe on Sat.

Maybe Bahasa on Friday, depends on how much we feeli like partying. What about you?

BEEN TO THOSE PLACES........THEY ARE PRETTY COOL. THE COLD AIR IS PRETTY COOL IN AMPITHEATER. DIDNT CARE FOR THE SPINNING DANCE FLOOR THOUGH. PRANA IS TIGHT. I REALLY LIKED HYDE PARK THOUGH.

Do you reside in Tampa or was this just while you visited Tampa???
 
I know some of the bouncers at Amp. Also, I have the leather jacket from one of those guys by an interesting turn of events. He owes somebody else money, so I am going to sell it and pay that person what money he owes that person.

I HAVE SOME FRIENDS OUT THERE..........I GO EVERY NOW AND THEN.
 
I got friends down in orlando, and whenever i'm down there we always go over to Ybor for the weekends...some of the best times i've ever had have been down there.
 
I am down here for business right now...

had dinner in ybor last night, and I saw more scary homeless and bikers in one night than scary people in nyc in the past few years!

Wow, there are a lot of Tampa people on here. My wife and I have lived here for a while but we don’t go out too much.
It’s hard to find places for us to hang out. It’s always either young single people trying to get laid (which gets old) or older stuffy married couples who talk about their kids all night.
We kind of get stuck between the two since are married but young with no kids and my wife starts to get annoyed by young collage guys hitting on her every time I turn my back.

Where do you live??
South Tampa has some cool lounges starting to pop up. Bahasa is nice, 25-40 year old crowd. Hyde Park Cafe is cool. I think Pran is supposed to be a little older crowd.
 
I'm in north east Tampa by USF. By the end of the year my new house will be built and I'll be up in Pasco.

I'll have to check out some of the places you mentioned.

my office is off Bearrs. I think the wife and I are going out over hte weekend. Fri possiblty Bahasa Sat either Hyde Park Cafe or Prana.

BTW- no kids here either, so I know what your talking about!
 
I don't know what we doing on Friday yet. Saturday I think we are going to shoot dart at Peabody's, but that is only cause we have nothing else to do.

We both work on the weekends here so going out on weekends doesn't happen all that often. We did have Monday off and we went to the beach by Shephards, the tiki bar had a decent band and we snuck into the pool a few times. ;) I also cut my leg pretty ugly on some rock or shells in the water...grrrrrrrrrrr!

i was at sheperds this past sunday. were you there. Whenever i go its either strippers or juice heads walking around. Doesn't bother me though. My friends girlfriend won the booty contest thrown by 93.3 (shes a stripper too)

maybe some sunday we all can meet at shepards!!!

No...I was only there on Monday...damn...I missed all the booties!

We take almost every Monday off together but this Mon. hubby's in Chicago, and next Mon. I'll be in NY.

He left his jacket with someone I know. He owes another person money, but won't pay that person back. I will teach him that he should pay back his debts, even though I don't need to. It's just the right thing to do.

Sheperds on sundays, no doubt. Who was there Memorial Day weeken, off the chain. If you like sushi and your in S Tampa you have to try Yokos. Smokes Samurai Blue. I usually end up going to Stumps though cuz my brother and his g/f like it and being on probation makes Ybor bad for me. Hyde Park Cafe usually has some nice trim and just banged some pharmaceutical sales rip that I picked up at Blue Martini which is right near my office.
