It's not even close to that brother. You're being misled. Here;s your federal budget overview:

Social Security is a $530Billion dollar program. Defense comes in at $400B, Medicare and Medicaid combine for $375B, and Interest on teh national debt is approx $250B. Pensions for retired federal workers cost alomst $100B per year.

That's over 80% of teh federal budget before we even pay federal employees (about 10million non-military, what do you think that costs??) give any state aid or send $1 overseas, which is signifcant.

Most of the welfare comes from state level programs. Very very little (much less than .1%) of the federal budget is spent on welfare.

Damn, people make everything complicated. We declared war on terrorism after 9/11. So, we are at ward with terrorists and any countries that might support them. Is this difficult to understand? People will undoubtably say "why don't you go after Russia or China, etc..." Well you have to make some examples out there first an hope that a lesson is learned. But I contend that any country that supports terrorism right now is on our radar unless they desist. PNAC? Too many checks and balances right now. Bush's plot to take over the world? He has about five years left of his presidency to do this? Not possible.

You make no sense. First of all 70-80% of the world did not oppose the war. Secondly, the countries that did not support the world do not support terrorism. They are just inclined to not do anything about it. Please describe how I am destroying our country. You can look at my previous posts and see that I don't get into name calling, but damn...you're a pussy. You're the kind of guy that would want to open a dialogue if a coutry nuked us.
