Alrighty, been on this product for about 20 days now so I will start a small log of what I’ve noticed since I’ve started taking Swole V2 (orange flavor), it tastes like kool-aid or tang. I have consumed many creatines in the past as well as V12 and Betagen. V12 gave me decent results and Betagen was so-so as I didn’t respond to well to it’s unique blend of creatine mono and calcium HMB …Anyway, here is my review so far:
Start weight: 179 lbs
Height: 6’0”
BF%: 11.2% (measured by a 6pt caliper test)
Current weight: 183 lbs
BF%: 10.6%
My diet is currently a 40/40/20 split. Very clean and I allow myself one cheat day per week, on Sundays. I concentrate most of my carbs around my workouts as well as breakfast. Currently drinking between 1.5 and 2 gallons of water a day. I’ve been mixing Swole V2 in the morning as I wake up with 8oz of water and roughly 15min before my 6pm workout, again with water. My other supplements I’m taking include:
* Multi-vitamin, once in the a.m. with my breakfast as well as one, in the p.m., with my PWO meal
* Fiber (I’m currently aiming for 30-40g daily). Most of my fiber comes from oatmeal, Metamucil, and my low carb/high fiber tortilla’s
* EFA’s (consuming roughly 2tbsp daily of Flax seed oil plus 6g CLA and 10g fish oil (EPA/DHA) )
* Protein powder (Optimum Nutrition 100% whey)
* R-ALA with 20g+ carbs
* caffeine before my cardio and weight training (green tea)
* and a few other ‘miscellaneous’ vitamins
Before I started Swole V2 I was on a strict cutting diet. I was playing softball throughout the season, sometimes 3-4 times a week and really stayed away from the weights, except cardio. Since my last bulk from November to February, I lost a great deal of muscle mass as well as fat. By no means am I a heavy lifter, so no smart ass comments, please ...I am currently on a maintenance cycle
What I’ve noticed besides the increase of strength is the better definition/vascularity and how my final sets feel like my first, hence giving me more energy. The bloating is minimal, if any. My muscles feel fuller and harder. I’ve been greatly pleased with this product so far and I do recommend it even if you respond well to creatine. So far, after 20 or so days, it is better then V12, IMHO
