i will let the other guys give you advice that will work in the short term but if you want to fix this long term listen close:
there is a difference between being hungry and just eating cause you are bored or something is a trigger
you will notice that watching tv triggers appetite when you aren't even hungry
a lot of people are also addicted to food.. if you find yourself hungry for a big mac or pizza or soda or other junk food that is an addiction. the food companies know how to get you hooked on their junk. to break that addiction you need to avoid those foods, it is just like any other addiction .. just don't keep it in your house
you don't want to be a slave to food.. so my final quick tip is learn how to fast. intermittent fasting works great because you will not be hungry all day vs. eating as soon as you wake up then wanting food every 2 hours
