Ive always eatin sunflower seeds cause I knew they were packed with nutrients for bb but I never knew exactly how much nutrients they had until recently. one half cup of sunflower seeds contains:
1.5g arginine
3g glutamine
12g protein
15g total carbs
7g fiber
arginine is an amino acid so i would think that the 1.5g is included with the total amount of protein as well. this is not including the healthy fats found in sunflower seeds as well. imo, this seems like one of the best all-around snacks for a bodybuilder or weight trainer. just not close to workout time. i eat a couple of handfulls before i go to bed.
