There was a 2 way tie for first place. To break the tie...they had the two women face each other and hold 135lb farmers walk implements. The first one to let go...got 2nd place.

I just love these pics...motivation. Giving it everything that they have...every last ounce of what they have inside...blood, sweat, love and tears.

Her contest is this weekend on St. Louis. It might be televised by some small local television stations...but not for sure.

Shoot...I hope it's not televised!!! I will be even more nervous!!! My goal for these farmer's walks (150 lbers) will be to just pick them up!!!...and then I will go from there! Thanks for the luck Sapphire!!!

Why does that just not look 'fun'??

I think that it just looks amazing. You should see Night Fly doing the farmers walk or the super yoke...when she is getting to the point where pain is beginning to set in but she doesn't want to quit. She just keeps pushing, steping, and holding on. There is me running right beside her, yelling, coaching, cheering...loving every minute of it.

A lot of this sport is about how bad you want it...and do you want it more than the other person. I love that. Requires tons of training preperation...but on contest day you really have to have the fire inside to beat everyone else.
