Stressed out by low carb - please help!

Ok so through the week I eat low carb and my calories are good...then the weekend comes and I get frustrated because I eat something wrong. I am running out of time for my cruise (8 weeks) and I need to cut up fast!! My question is...can I eat VERY LOW CALORIES until my cruise to cut some fat? I will take ECA and eat protien...but I am seriously running out of time and dont want to look like a fat blob for the cruise...know what I mean? I have added about 30 lbs of muscle in the past year, but fat too. Can I at least lose 20 pounds or so before then with a VERY drastic diet? I dont care if I lost a little bit (dont want to lose too much...but I dont have that hard of a time putting muscle on)

Right now my number one focus is that damn cruise. Can anyone help? I am getting desprate. Thank you.

Just eat sensibly and train hard. If you find a low carb diet too hard you'll make it coutnerproductive by trying to do it because more than likely you'll splurge on crap + it will make you go insane.

Eat 250 calories less than you burn a day and burn at least 250 extra calories a day (just do more cardio during the week)

ECA will help u

Stick to your carbs coming from veggies (mainly greens and cruciferous veggies)

Get some Myoples packets to help you make it when you have a sweet craving and make sure you're not losing too much too fast too!

Check this out and see if u can derive any good from it: http://www.testosterone.net/nation_articles/266seven.jsp

How much do you think I can do? Is this possible to lose 20 pounds in 8 weeks? I keep my protien up carbs and calories way down...I can focus on replacing lost muscle when I get back.
I also assume because I am not going to eat very many calories that my metab. will slow down, but if I am taling ECA stack then it shoul counteract that right?

you might be able to pull that. however you might want to schedule a refeed day every now and then to speed up your metabolism otherwise your metabolism will slowly come to a halt no matter how many eca's you take.

Yeah 20lbs in 8 weeks isn't impossible but will require alot of work and sorry to say this bro, discipline

I would seriously do HIIT 5 tmies a week in the morning on an empty stomach.

Actually tell u what. Give me a PM and i'll try to help you out a bit more in depth. Ok?

you can try once every 10 days... or 2 weeks, whatever works for you. as BA said, you have to be diciplined. you'll have to count calories and weigh your food. one common diet mistake is mixing High GI carbs with fats, that's just asking for trouble. keep carbs with proteins and with little to no fats, and keep fats with proteins with little to no carbs. it's going to be rough, but it's do-able.

I do slightly disagree w/BA on the HIT training. You're going to be in a catabolic state as it is due to caloric deficit, and HIT that many times a week is going to seriously eat muscle, your body burns carbs and muscle during such training. Low intensity cardio generally uses fat as fuel. I'd still do HIT training, but not that often, and add some low to moderate cardio, along with your regular weight training. Also look into circuit training, check out this article.

but the main thing that will make or break you is your diet.

Im doing HIIT but sometimes it is not on an empty stomach.
From now on it will be.
I also run every other day about 2 miles or so...that is moderate intensity.
I also take step classes 2 times a week, and circuit train 2 times a week also.
I do not mind losing muscle as I said. I can get it back after the cruise.
My main concern for the next 8 weeks is losing fat. As much as I can. If that means losing some muscle, that is kn.
I will eat as much protien to counteract this as I can.
That would be the right way to go, right? Protien?
