Stiff Legged Deadlift (and other glute/ham q)

If you do SLD, do you lock your knees and truly do it "stiff legged"? Or do you keep a slight bend in the knee? Which way is better? I've always struggled w this.

Also - what other exercises do you like for that annoying glute/ham tie in area? I am trying to build some separation between those areas!

I normally do romain deads cause we have a platform at my gym to deadlift on. If I do SLDL its a slight bend in the knee.

Best ham glute exercise is the reverse hack squat

I don't lock my knees out and I make sure to go veeeeeeery slow
but not locking the knees comes from military drill and ceremony...lock your knees in formation and you'd pass out ..no joke
Its a great way to get out of formation..lol

squats, squats and more squats for me for glutes/ hams
then a shitload of leg press with different foot positioning...I always feel it in my quads when I first finish ...and my hams/butt wants to be dead the following day

What LP position do you like for glute/ham? Up high and feet close together?
