1) EF is not a source board. We don't discuss any aspect of buying and selling. This includes source names, UG labs, UG brand names, UG quality checks, prices, payment methods, shipping, receiving, Customs, etc.

2) EF staff do not do source checks, and we dont get involved in scammer issues. These are just other aspects of buying and selling and are no concern of ours.

3) The PM system is not for soliciting sources or customers or doing source checks between members. Anyone so doing will be banned. Anyone "doing business" with a member banned for using the PM system in this way will be banned as well.

If you receive a PM soliciting sources or offering to sell you something, or asking for a source check, please forward it to a mod.

4) We dont discuss the use of recreational drugs (meth, coke, X, GHB, K, etc). There's no place for that on a Fitness and Bodybuilding Board.

5) We do not condone advising people under the age of 21 to use AAS.

If you're under 21, dont ask. If asked by an under-21 member, don't tell.
Saying "I know you're going to do it anyway even though it's a mistake" is not "providing guidance" -- it is a cop-out.

Sorry it took so long to be sure where we stood. It's one thing to tell people not to engage in source talk in PMs, and another to figure out how to enforce it. The obvious answer is we can't, until someone scams and gets caught.

But once that guy's banned, there's no reason not to reset his password and dump his inbox -- and if someone has been swapping source talk with him, that is where the new policy kicks in. You are only as safe as the most dishonest and stupid person you ever dealt with, and it's time for everyone to learn that, scammers included.

I'm spelling out all these gory details because we've told you that mods cannot read your PMs and admins do not. Someone will try to twist that, and say "if you aren't lying then you have to be bluffing" -- I think we sorted it out so we aren't doing either one.

Why is the discussion of scammers not permitted?

Our attempts to anticipate and warn people about scammers ended more often than not with good mods discredited and called names. Why? Because they weren't mind readers.

If a source takes the time to build up a good reputation and then suddenly decides to go scammer all of a sudden, there is no early warning system. There is not a damn thing we can do about it, and it's misleading to say we'll try. But that doesn't keep people from saying the mods "should have known" or that they are in league with scammers.

Hell, if we warned you that so-and-so was looking "too successful" while he was still filling orders, that would have been slander or libel. There's no way to win, so we're out of that aspect of the game.

We would be stupid to ask unpaid volunteers to take that sort of risk, and they'd be stupid to accept. We don't ask stupid people to be mods.

When you share sources with a whiny loser, sooner or later he WILL burn you. We have five members who are no longer with us today because of a single case of that. No, they aren't in jail. They're just BANNED, and damned lucky that's all they're facing.

Get this straight: "Being careful" won't work when you're abusing our PM system.

Telling the idiot to delete his PMs won't work.

Telling him not to quote your previous PM's back at you won't work -- because if he weren't too stupid to understand what you're telling him, he wouldn't be PMing you in the first place.

When someone PM's you about sources, repeat after me: "I don't know what you're talking about."

Update: New member, with zero posts, Sent FIFTEEN COPIES of the same source-begging-PM to a random cross section of members... including a few mods and Chairmen. So he got banned, of course, which made him fair game to have his PM box dumped.

Let's spell it out, one more time. As mentioned more than once... I can change your password, but I can't change it back, so if I go prying into your PMs you WILL know about it.

Once someone has been banned for cause, though, we can dump his PM box, and what do you expect to happen when we find you there, standing on Darwin's doorstep screaming "TAKE ME! I'M TOO STUPID TO LIVE!"

If you've been swapping source PMs with an idiot, he WILL screw up and get caught, and he WILL take you down with him.

So don't do that.
