Steroid acne

What do you guys use to combat steroid acne while on cycle, because my skin just cleared up after struggling to get it cleared up. I was on Minocycline to clear up acne. I am planing on running a cycle in a couple of weeks and was looking for advice on preventing acne while on cycle cause I hate acne while on cycle.

Any advice would be much appreciated
Thanks

I did a Alpha Pharma winny and test cype cycle about 5 years ago. I am prone to spots if i shave etc. I got a few on my back and the odd MASSIVE one on the face which seemed to take ages to get rid of. I don't really think you can avoid it if you are prone to them.

Wash your face with a good soap like Dermalogica Clean bar. http://www.dermalogica.co.uk/html/products/clean-bar-90.html

I have tried loads and this is the best for me. Wash before bed and put a sensitive moisturizer after.

Thanks for the reply, I heard supplementing with zinc and selenium, helps a lot and also vitamin A, will high doses of these vitamins help with reducing acne

Here are some tips for removing acne:

1. Sun tanning is a very effective means of reducing acne and drying out the skin.

2. Use anti-acne lotions at least once per day. Go to your doctor and ask him to prescribe you a topical acne cream. It'll work better then anything available over the counter and your insurance will cover it.

3. Make sure you are showering 3 times per day: upon waking, after workouts and before bed.

4. Zinc containing creams are very effective and available over the counter. Apply them to your trouble areas.

5. Black ointment is extremely effective. It stinks pretty badly, but I am pretty sure you can deal with it for a couple of hours in order to get rid of acne.

6. Shaving foam is very effective in drying out the skin, and it is very easy to get in any shop. Apply it on the troubled area for 15-20 minutes, and wash it off.

Accutane works - there is absolutely no denying that. However, it is one of the worst compounds you can possibly take in terms of side effects. It is extremely liver toxic and carries a way more liver hepatoxic nature then any oral steroid.

6. Baking soda is one of the best natural exfoliants you can use. Gently rub baking soda on your trouble areas when showering to remove layers of dead skin and help remove the acne.

It's tough because if you are prone to acne you will likely get it no matter what you do. I have never had issues but it seems that tanning and scrubbing are the best options. Just keep the affected area as dry as possible.
