"Starting Strength" of Nutrition?

I'm sure alot of you have purchased and love it. Starting Strength is my Bible now. Everything you need to know about the act of working out is in this book.

Is there a nutrition/diet equivalent of this? I want to get strict and intelligent about my diet, but I have so many gaps and loose ends about my knowledge of nutrition. A "Starting Strength" of nutrition would be rather ideal right now.

Thanks in advance!

A good book for some basics is "Fats that kill, fats that heal" by Udo Erasmus. At least I think I spelled that right. I lost my copy a couple years ago.

Thanks!

Any other suggestions?

I got the Bill Phillips book Eating For Life as a gift one year. It's pretty good. There are a lot of protein based / healthy fat meals in there. The shrimp carbonara is pretty tasty. I've also read the abs diet book. It's not a cookbook but rather speaks to the basic muscle building food groups. It's a pretty good read, too.
