Stan homebrew ????

How "clear" does Stan become when heated? I know it has to be very hot but how clear should it be before I filter and purg? Thanks

Unless you really want an injectible, why not just cap it?

Melting point is around 230-240 C (450 F). Why are you wanting to melt it and how are you going to filter molten winny without its cooling in the process?

Sorry, I don't have an answer to your question regarding the colour. I'd have to go buy a blowtorch to check.
