can you gain mass in your legs from only doing squats? do u need all the other accesories such as leg press and sldl and hack squats and lunges? i am knew to leg workout and just doing squats has my legs busted for like 3 days and i only do 5x5 workout. so i was wonderin if adding more stuff is important or just stick to the basic.:fro:
 
I made great gains on my quads doing just 5x5 for a while, no extras. If you're only going o squat I would suggest at least 1-2 sets in the 8-10 rep range at the end to stress the slower twitch fibres though, on top of the 5x5
