Can you explain to me how to do this movement in elementary terms please:D Do you have any pics/vids of this movement being performed?
 
Do you mean a rack pull??

Set the pins where you want them. They were at 17" for me right there...but you can do them at any height that you wish...

I trained with my PL friend on Friday, and he was doing half deads from the floor to knee level. This helps build strength at the start; the half deads posted by B Fold will build strength at the finish.

I need to work on the start - I keep rounding my back too much - so I'm going to start doing the half deads from the floor and work on keeping an arch in my back.
