I'm currently cutting and have a few questions:
- Is it normal to lose strength on a cut, or at least not INCREASE strength? I don't seem to be losing strength as such, I just don't seem to be able to increase the weight on my lifts at all, which I could do when I was bulking. It seems as if I'm just going into the gym working out with exactly the same weights (or less) week to week now, and was just wondering if this was normal for a cut.
- Let's say my daily calories needed to lose weight were 2500Kcals. If I then woke up really early (6am for example) one day, obviously my day would be longer than usual therefore I'd probably need to eat more meals. Wouldn't this pose a problem as I'd most likely end up eating MORE than 2500Kcals due to having got up so early in the morning & needing to eat more throughout the day.
- Finally, let's carry on using the daily calorie example above (2500Kcals). I'm an insulin dependent diabetic unfortunately and at times my blood sugar levels drop and I become Hypoglycemic (basically a lack of sugar in the blood). This means I need to eat/drink something containing sugar straight away & follow it by having some biscuits or a jam sandwich etc in order to stabilise my blood sugar & bring it back to normal. How badly would this affect my cut, considering I'm meant to be eating a certain amount of calories every day in order to lose weight. Surely having this 'Hypoglycemic attack' which requires me to eat something containing sugar would play havoc with the fact that I need to be eating no more than 2500Kcals per day in order to lose weight. At times the food I eat in order to stabilise my blood sugar levels contains up to around 300 or more calories. Is this OK once in a while or will I definitely be unable to lose weight if I eat an extra 300 or so calories once in a while (e.g. 2800Kcals one day as opposed to the 2500Kcals I SHOULD be consuming)?
Thanks guys, I'll await your responses
