Sodium

How much should one be worried about sodium while cutting, i didnt really realize how much it mounts up with different spices and what not

Personally, if I know there is lots of sodium in something, I try not to put too much on. So, forinstance, I still ike soya saucec and hot sauce, but try to use it sparingly. I wouldn't worry too much about sodium, even if you are competing.

Ok cool thanks

to be honest when im tryin to get cut i honestly like to stay away from sodium as much as i can. if u think about it..sodium is in virtually everything you eat, therefore ull get a good amount of sodium everyday depending on what ur eating..

Switch to sodium free salt and hit the spice isle at the local grocery store and buy some Mrs. Dash. They add a lot of flavor, have a lot of different seasonings, and all are sodium free. I think if you are cutting, it is important to not ignore the little things as they add up.
