so we should train legs huh .. can I ask some questions then

I'm just starting out training seriously after messing about with weights at home for years when I was younger. I want to work legs and I actually enjoy working them but I'm concerned about:

1. Having trouble fitting into trousers and needing tailor made clothes

2. If my legs get "too big" they might chafe constantly by rubbing together

3. Is it necessary to have a spotter while doing squats? I don't have a training partner and would have difficulty asking a stranger in the gym for a spot

Are these legitimate concerns / problems?
Any other issues to be aware of?
 
your legs arent about to balloon up so that your clothes wont fit. also you probably dont work your forearms seperately either. i was just admiring the beauty of my forearms and cursing myself for not working them earlier.

you sound like the ladies i train that think its an overnight process that happens from breathing near weights.

seriously. dont sweat it. by the time you get to the type of poundages, if you do, that require tailormade pants....you wont care, you'll have earned it and will wear that size like a badge.
 
1: Yeah sure maybe after years of really hard training and steroid use...

3: You can always use the smith machine but always try to have a spotter im sure that the people in the gym wont mind helping you.....
 
Just be sure to lift within your means and not your head! Your legs won't be growing fast enough to concern yourself about custom tailoring pants, another important issue might be severe ringing in the ears, light headedness, and those little fuzzy white things when you feel like your gonna pass out from a serious squat session. Have fun...
 
Pussy!

Having regular clothes not fit is a buzz for most people, even though it is a pain in the arse. My last cycle I grew out of all my jeans and had to get new ones. I actually ripped two pairs and felt like the incredible hulk!

It is tough finding pants when your quads are 27" each and your waist is 28" like mine. As for chaffing, they rub toether just like your arms rub against your sides. There is no pain from it or anything but you sometimes find trousers start to wear thin quicker from rubbing together aroung the groin area.
