I have been reading the boards for a long time now and it is my first time posting. You guys are all full of great information and I have learned a lot.

I started getting serious about training about 6 months ago and I have really made some major changes to my body. However, I feel like it is time to take it up a notch. I want to start taking something, not sure what yet, to help me lean up. I have NO problem gaining muscle. My body reacts great to building, I am just afraid of being bulky.

What products do would you suggest I research first before I decide what to do? I am not interested in any hard steriods, just a little help leaning up. Can you help? :D

well, you can look into things like eca or some of the new non-ephidrine products....i would suggest taking some green tea extract with it as well....

also, look into t-rex (thermorexin) from AnaFit, as imo it is the best fat burner that is otc right now.

basically, you just need to keep your diet in check, do your cardio, and MAYBE take a fat burner....really its all just about diet and training!

thanks for posting, i am sure many others will chime in!

Actually my diet is great. I am trying to eat real clean. Take in a lot of water. Eating frequently throughout the day. Now that I have got that down, I need the next step. Like supplements and anything else that will help me lean up.

There are so many thermo's out there. Which one are you thinking of?

Do you already take a multivitamin and multimineral?

About the thermo's Xenadrine could be a choice.

Like lil k said, a good thermo is Thermorexin from the store at www.anabolicfitness.com. It seems pricey at first, but is actually very cost-effective since you take less of it than many other thermo's.

If you have only been serious about training for 6 months or so, then there are SO many things you can change before you add drugs.

Maybe you could stand to change your diet - you say you eat clean - but maybe if you post up your diet, people can suggest changes to help you meet your goals. Sometimes other people can see problems you can't! :)

Also, you can change your workout routine - if you post that too (like your weekly weight split and cardio duration/mode/intensity) most people will be happy to suggest alternatives.

Good luck! And Welcome!

My diet is pretty simple really.

Breakfast-Egg whites or a bran muffin, sometimes oatmeal. I try to change it around. I always have coffee.

midmorning snack-yogurt or protein bar

Lunch-usually chicken breast or tuna and always some kind of vegetable.

midafternoon-fruit and cottage cheese

Dinner-chicken breast or steaks with vegies. Usually bbq'd.

If it is not too late when I have dinner I then usually have another piece of fruit. (I love fruit)

I drink a lot of water throughout the entire day!

What do you think? I don't take any supplements right now. I wa taking a multivitamin, but nothing else. I am doing my research to find out what I should be taking. Help!

As for my work out, I really do try to change it around every 8 weeks or so. I tweak something here and there to keep me going. It really helps me from getting bored.

Looking at your diet I'd say that you still need to make some changes in order to get leaner. For example, it would be a good idea to include some essential fats (nuts, flaxseed, etc). I would definitively change the dairy products for something else, maybe tuna or chicken. Don't be afraid of carbs, you need them too for energy otherwise your body will be only using proteing for source of energy and that is not good. What type of fruit are you eating? Be conscious that some types of fruits have more sugar than others and that consuming them late at night may be a source of making you store fat.

About supplements, multivitamin is a most. If you can find one that has also multimineral included that can be good, or buy the multimineral alone. Get VitE 400Ui, Vit C 500 mg, Vit A and Calcium.

As for your workout, what type of weight are you managing?
