Seriously on the legs. You are more than welcome to ry my little warmup routine:
1) up the stairs (from the lower weight room to the main floor), 2 stairs at a time up, walk down, 1 step at a time -- make sure your feet step flat on each step and not just half a step on your toes but a full step --- like my trainer says - respect the stairs! And do this 10 x. I've been adding dumbbells to the stairs deal but if you aren't able to comfortably hold the weight, just increase the number of "laps".
2) "Genies" -- set up a couple of 25 lb plates on the floor next to each other, and do "sissy squats" (squat form but no weight, no bar), butt to your heels and back up. I don't do these slow, just do them. 8 sets of 8.
3) Walking lunges, hands on hips - across & back 4 x. You can do these on the ramp in the lower weight room. For an even bigger challenge, do each lunge w/ a high step instead of just a regular step.
I do these things every day.
