Sled/sprints - feedback???

Spatts or one of you smart mofos-

If someone wanted to include sprinting and/or "sled dragging" sorry if thats the wrong / not proper term -in to their workout, can you point me in the direction of some good info or give me some tips or insight.

Sorry, this is probably a really basic question.

I don't need an answer like lace up your shoes and run. :)

I'm looking for some variety, additional cardio, overall body, leg strength and explosiveness to add to my routine - any feedback?

What do you drag? Do you need to buy some type of sled to use? Any poorman's variations available to avoid tieing up money, etc????? Frequency, duration, etc?

Thanks to any/all replies.

Sled Dragging 101

I treat sprints like a leg workout and either do them with or without the sled. The sled is really versatile. You can use it light for distance, light for AR, heavy for a solid workout, etc... When using it as a workout, treat it like a resistance session. When using it light, do it on off days, or in the morning, as "cardio" and active recovery.

:)
