When I used to eat beef, I would buy more inexpensive cuts, which tend to be tough. However, if you have a crock pot (you can also buy one pretty cheaply) you can cut up the meat & cook it in there & it'll get so tender it'll shred up. I would also buy London Broil when it was on sale in a big hunk. London Broil cooks up nicely in the crock pot. You'd have to check on how lean it is cuz I'm not sure.
