Shout out to new moms on the Ladies Board

I just wanted to post a little salute to all you new moms here! We all spend so much time & energy learning how to live the fitness lifestyle and deal w/ the daily stresses of picking the right foods, sticking to the diets, getting to the gym, trying to live a balanced life, even the additional challenges of pursuing competition.

But then throw in some kids and I am humbled by how you all handle it. Hubby, kids, new babies, getting your body back after the little munchkin(s) borrowed it for 9 months and then use you as a pack horse, entertainment committee, chef & waiter, diaper cleaner and all-around gopher.... I feel stress just from meeting the needs of my CAT!

You go girls! You ladies inspire me and remind me just what we females can accomplish and the work it takes to do it.

And remember new moms, there's also us "old" moms out here if you need a shoulder to lean on or an extra ear to bend!!

I'm sure between us all somebody's heard it, seen it, done it, or wiped it up ... my own personal favorite pieces of mommy advice:

1. Crayola crayons while not only nontoxic (thank God) come out exactly the same color they went in!

2. If allowing a toddler to munch on a dog biscuit stops the child from crying ... what price peace??? (you had to be there).

It is actually 10 months. Preganacy typically lasts 40 weeks.
