X XbdawggX New member Jul 16, 2003 #2 I read an article over at T-mag that had some pretty interesting information regarding bulking/cutting results based on initial bodyfat. Basically, it stated that people with higher BF tend to add more fat than muscle when bulking, but tend to drop more fat than muscle when cutting. The reverse is true of people with lower BF... they add more muscle than fat when bulking and tend to drop more muscle than fat while cutting. I'm pretty sure that was the jist of it. Click to expand... good idea... though at that bodyfat it is definitely still possible to make muscular gains while losing considerable fat..

Agree. With a good diet and some decent training, he should be able to make progress in both directions.
