shoe sizes

i just had to special order my daughters dance shoes because she has a wide foot. I ordered her size 7.5wide (women's) in tap shoes and size 7wide in jazz shoes and they fit her perfectly.
she is 8 years old.....

poor girl.

LOL Hard to imagine, only 8 and having a size 7. Do you or her father have big feet? My daughter's feet are wide, but she's 12 and wears a size 5 usually. She spends most of her non-school time either barefoot or in flip-flops.

*sigh*... we are a family of big feet.
i wear a 10, husband is tall and wears a 12.5 i think. my son, who is 12years old wears a mens 11 EEEE

lol... i'm only 5' 5.5" and i'm the tallest in my family.
my husband is 6'2"

she might end up being like 5'9" with as tall as your husband is. she'll grow into them. shoe size is over rated anyways.

I had gotten a growth spurt at 8 I was was 5' tall with the same size shoe and by the time I was 11 going on 12 I was 5'7" , 8.5 shoe and 36C boobies.

It was not a great time but eh, you get over it all.

I agree with Annabelle she'll probably be rather tall so think of it this way - she'll be able to wear cool adult shoes before everyone else.
