Sherbet as an alternative to ice cream?

What do you guys think about eating sherbet as a cheat to sub in for ice cream? Naturally low fat, but high in carbs and sugars obviously. Not a great food to eat by any means, and the carbs are simple junk carbs, so the low fat is pretty much negated. I think I just answered my own question but I'd like to hear other opinions. Thanks.

LoL, you did answer your own question.... but usually a cheat is something you sub for something good....youre trying to sub sherbet for ice cream... ?

Most sugar free ice creams have only around 90cals per 1/2cup, thats not terrible considering...

i could eat a diet of ice cream and not get fat. come to think of it, i'm going to the H&D shop for dinner.

Get some Bryer's low-fat vanilla bean ice cream that's made with Splenda (low-fat and no added sugars), scoop it into a giant bowl (the entire quart); mix two tablespoons of instant coffee with one tablespoon of water, mix well and pour onto the coffee; crumble up some chocolate crisps (also low-fat) and mix everything in the ice cream. Smooth it out over a springform pan (9") and place in the freezer.

Makes for an awesome low-fat, low-sugar ice cream!
