My basic principle re: relationships is "if you can't/won't tell your partner about it you know in your heart you shouldn't be doing it".

It could also mean you've got the wrong partner. Finding the right person to be open, honest, and comfortable with is not an easy thing to do. Communication is key to a healthy sexual relationship.

Porn, to me, is an aid. Like toy's or lingerie or naughty talk or erotic fiction, it's all about learning and expanding horizons and exploring things that maybe you wouldn't but definitely should.

This is Bullshit. I think porn is part of the reason my ex left me. On days when I got some, I didn't look at porn, On days when i didn't get any, I looked at porn. Its that simple. It wasn't out of spite or anything else, I just needed to relief! Its hard to sleep especially next to her, when I am horny. I think he doesn't tell me about it because he thinks I'll get mad. We've never really taked about it, I just know he looks at it, then denies that he does when I ask.

It almost seems like he is embarrassed about it when I ask - like he was 'caught'. But honestly, I don't care that he does - I just hate the not telling the truth. THAT Is what bothers me, not the porn. It's the hiding.

It may not even be that he doen't want to tell you about it out of embarasment, although thats part of it. In my case, I jjust don't want to discuss my autoerotic activities with anyone, its okay if my gf knows it going on, why must we discuss it? He would probably rather have sex with you then watch porn, but your not there 100% of the time. Its just part of being a guy.

And *should* it bother me that my guy looks at it behind my back? (although he insists that he doesn't) I find that it bothers me a little, but I feel stupid for letting it bother me. Because honestly, I don't think porn is bad, wrong, cheating, etc.

The answer in one word. TESTOSTERONE. WE, like animals, have the mission of procreation. That's the only reason for what we were created. That's why we have high levels of this hormone. And that is what make us "animals". That give us that instinct of going close to a woman and feel the impulse of having sex with her (libido). We love dirty sex. We love different positions. We love doing fantasies a reality. Just because that is what animals do in mother nature. They have sex whenever they want with whoever they want 2 times, 3 times per day if they want. Since we have "intelligence" we can't do that. So we invented PORN. to satisfy our eyes and complete that pleasure with masturbation and/or sex with our partners.

I agree with pharmguy. If I'm totally sexually satisfied by the girl that I'm with, I have zero interest in porn. If I'm not, you know the drill.

This is true. My last gf thought I had a porn addiction. I have 2 pornos which I haven't watched in years but I do look at real girl pics (think Daisy_Girl or fitness babe pics) maybe 30 minutes a day tops. I like webcams cuz I'm a voyeur but I don't even do that much.
My new girl likes porn as much as I do. The only thing she asks is that I send her the good stuff.

Damn right man...that's it. If the girls is a nasty freak bitch, it's true..you don't need porn and don't need masturbation.
