Did anyone see the match last night (Serena Williams v. Jennifer Capriati)?! I've never seen so many BAD calls...4 bad calls against Serena, & even after the game, the officials apologized on behalf of the chair ump. What's an apology supposed to do? She's out of the semi's! She was ROBBED! Capriati is a good player but she knows deep down that she didn't deserve to win at all! I'm just really upset about the whole thing & I'm sure this is going to be analyzed for years to come.

Granted people have bad games & STILL win... Serena was well on her way to winning. The point was HERS yet they literally GAVE it to Capriati. After the game when they interviewed Capriati on the court she said, "I don't know what the big fuss is she won the point anyway"... which was NOT true. Capriati got that point! In a game like that, 3 sets, there shouldn't have been such BAD calls.

Maybe so, but those calls came in the 3rd set. Maybe those points didn't mean shit in the long run, but I bet you her concentration suffered as a result.

She handled it pretty well though, I would have been pissed off.

Yeah I agree... I can't believe no one else stepped in though. McEnroe was ready to jump down from the booth to talk to a "ref".
