Salmon Recipees

How does everyone prepare their salmon when they eat it? I would like to start adding it into my diet and was looking for some good prep techniques to help make it more appettising

I don't eat salmon near as much as I'd like to as it is not cheap. But it's a great diet food.

I take a salmon fillet, spread on some olive oil, teasp at most.
Add seasoning to taste. I add some Mrs. Dash Garlic somethingorother because I'm currently watching the salt. But sometimes I'll add a little garlic powder, some parsley, and bake it with sliced onion on the top.

This is what I do.

Take a whole side of a fish, or two lay it skin down on a cookie sheet that is covered with foil. cover the fish with thin lemon slices and on top of that slices of onion. Bake till its cooked but still juicy. Remove from oven and let cool.

After the fish is cool remove all the meat being carefull to pick out bones. (a good salmon filet will not have many bones) crumble meat into a large bowl. add one egg, diced onion, pepper, cracker crumbs (I use saltine cracker crumbs I crush in a ziplock bag....very fine) you can add some lemon juice too.

Mix it all so that its not too dry and you can easily make patties out of the mixture.

fry the patties on the stove top till they are golden brown on each side and you are done.

you can store these in the fridge in ziplock bags and make sandwich's out of them or just eat them right out of the bag cold. fully cooked and sealed in a bag they will keep for 10 days easy.

Oh yea....they taste great too!

if yer in a hurry just nuke it and add BB QUE Sauce (KC Masterpiece is my fav) or use tobasco sauce

sounds gross...prolly is, but i like it!
PS u can do it with tuna (usually what i use)
I'm sure salmon is good with it too
for goodness sakes i can drink tobasco
and eat shrimp with bananas....
