everyone will tell you that you can just run a lot to burn fat, but don't fall into the trap of trying to outrun a bad diet. go talk to any long distance runner, their diet is going to be very very solid and clean. they don't sit around eating pizzas and donuts all day sorry like these instagram grifters want you to believe
a lot of runners adopt intermittent fasting and keep their meals compact. you HAVE TO or you will get sick. no runner consumes anything before their runs either. don't believe me? then go eat a meal and go run 5 miles and let me know how that works out for you
bottom line man is DIET is #1. until you fix that you might as well not even bother
