Rubber vial

For my steroid vial is it okay to have the rubber part exposed, as in I dont need a lid or anything covering the rubber stopper. So for example if I decide to put the vial in a diabetic bag and it rubs against the bag It should be okay to use as long as I still rub the top off?

Yes, it will be fine to use. Just make sure that every time you use it you wipe the top with an alcohol wipe. Everything needs to be perfectly clean or you could end up with an infection.

i don't even wipe the rubber. keep it in a sanitary area and you won't need to do that

It's fine. Just make sure to sanitize the top of the vial prior to each injection with rubbing alcohol
