Results on Keto diet?

I was wondering, from personal experience, what yalls experience with keto diets is, and do you think a carb cycle is more effective? What kind of results do you you see initially, like in the first two weeks?. Also, should one expect any ill effects on the digestive system initially... im switching from about 40/30/30 protein/fat/carb. I was thinking about starting one but have a trip coming up in a couple weeks... Id like to look good for it, but I dont want to be on the toilet the whole time or anything, and I can see switching to 60% fat fuckin with my digestive system! Any thoughts? Im in the last 3 weeks of a 12 week 500mg/wk test cycle. 6' 195 ~14-15% fat im guessing - I was out of the gym and off my feet for three weeks and I think I put on a lot of fat, but have not tested BF%.

Yo oklahoma, I am new to this forum but I have done keto many times before. I tried many different types of diets to try to cut off weight. I love keto and the way my body reacts to low carbs.

I am 22 yrs old, 225lb, 5'7 and usually between 15-22% body fat according to tests at la fitness.
Personal records:
315x4 bench press
295x3 incline
235x4 shoulder press
395x5 deadlift
40 yd dash-4.86

As you can see I am not the smallest person or the largest but I am leaning up as we speak on keto and hold my weight pretty well.

For my body type, keto is amazing! I can go from 225 to 210 in a few weeks (4-5). But you have to be cautious in when you switch back over. You need to do this slowly and not reverse it in a day but over a few days or weeks.

As for energy, I feel great and I rarely lose strength. However, power is some what lost, more mental than physical.

If you keep your protein high and spread even throughout the day you will hold on to your size and mass. I try to keep my fats low to moderate in order to keep my furnace burning if you know what I mean.

There is no need for diet pills/ fat burners in the beginning but towards the end they help.

I hope this helps. I will be logging my keto/ diet starting tom.
