Reason to take 1 day breaks from EC

I have noticed that glycogen uptake is slightly less pronounced when on the ephedrine caffeine stack. Additionally, when I use it for a while, I get fatigued much more quickly during a workout.

I think long-term EC use may reduce levels of important minerals and nutrients in muscle cells. It's probably related to the lack of glycogen uptake. Taking just one day off per week and eating lots of minerals and important nutrients on that day seems like it has worked.

Anyway, I had always wondered why one would take just one day off of EC, and that seems like a good reason. Anyone else know if this is true? Any other reasons to cycle off for just one or two days?

Over at Drumlib's site (www.drumlib.com), you can find detailed write ups on the ECA stack based on medical reports / trials. In a nutshell, Prolong ECA users 1) fat burning increased over time 2) jitters decreased 3) Blood pressure went down.

IMHO great site to visit.

I notice that I always get this crappy feeling about 4-5 weeks into it. I bump off for 2 days and get back on and I'm good for another 4-5 weeks. You may have something with mineral depletion or thereabouts.

It has long been suggested that e/c/a be cycled precisely to avoid the fallout that occurs after prolonged use (i.e., that crappy feeling).

Without getting technical, this feeling is the result of blocked beta receptors....which the e/c/a stack act on....cycling off for a week or two lets your receptors "clear" - and when you resume the stack you'll feel fine again....

Defintely check out the link to Drumlib posted above by SirWanksAlot if you're interested in the technical aspects of receptors and so forth....
