Real Oatmeal :D

I've been reading alot on the web about Irish Steel cut oatmeal and i saw a tin in my supermarket in the luxury section. I was first put off by the price (3 times as much as normal oat meal" but i thought what the heck i'd try it.
Anyway i got home and after trying hard to open the tin i finally got to the contents. It was really really good! I reccomend it.
I think it tastes kinda like grapenuts hehe, it'll probably taste just as good with cold milk/soy milk so if u like your crunchy cereals give it a try!

It takes longer to cook but it's got a chewier texture and i think the fact u have to chew it harder is only a good thing!

way better than regular oatmeal which can be sticky and gross if you don't cook it just right. Worth the extra$$

i still stick to the whole grain quaker oats .. i get 9lbs for $6.50 which is good cuz thats just about the only carbs i eat ... 3 cups a day

You can buy all kinds of bulk grains at a health food store.

the commisary where i live sometimes has sales out front with big deals like that one..i often stock up.
