Re range for bulk?

i honestly do not count rep ranges anymore but i understand why someone new to weight training would want to do it so the best # i can give you is going to be if your range is under 4 you are lifting too heavy, and if it is over 15 you are probably lifting too light.
 
Both heavy weights and high rep training (blood volume) are very important for muscle growth

A good workout program will incorporate both volume and heavy days into it
