Will the body utilize steel cut oatmeal in its raw form as effectively as it does when it's cooked? I hate the taste of plain oatmeal and I dont want to "dirty" it up with a bunch of high sugar stuff, so I just pulverize it and mix it into my shakes. Haven't done it for long and I was just wondering if any is wasted if consumed in the raw form.
