qv hologram question

the new qv holograms on the vials i have some leave dots after pealing back holograms and some don't on the vials, anyone else have this problem.

There are fakes on the QV holograms. Go to the counterfit board and compare hologram pictures.

If you put the real hologram flat on a table you should see rainbows. The fake hologram doesn't have the same color.

the holograms look just like the legit thing only problem is the new holograms are supposed to leave dots behind when you peel them pack as another security precaution, some of my vials do and some don't, should I worry.

don't worry about the dots behind the hologram. like sofa said just make sure the hologram has a good rainbow like reflection when u tilt it back. the ones that don't look like that rainbow effect r usually a good indication of a fake. there is also some other ways of telling if it is fake or not

Yes. This is the way I understand it. There's a picture of the fake and real somewhere, sorry I don't have the link but the fake does not have the rainbow.

There is an interesting reason for that. Hologram labels exist as an anti counterfitting device. Hence, the companies that invest hundreds of thousands of dollars in hologram printing machines have a vested interest in maintaining the efficacy of holgrams for anti counterfitting... so they don't print holograms for counterfitters. They actually call the companies... verify the order... verify the shipping address etc... to make sure the holograms are going to the real company.

In order to get fake holograms... counterfitters have to go with cheap print press sheets in cheap shops. They rarely get access to the good quality materials and presses.

I knew the equipment was very expensive and that was why fakes never have them right, but I didn't know the companies got involved. Good info Sofa.

both holograms front and back have the rainbow in them, so I am not going to worry about the dots, thanks guys.
