Guys, gimme the 411! I need to place some bets before they are closed!
 
How to place a bet?

Percentage payout?

ex: If I bet 1000 karma, wats the max i can win and what determines that?
 
first of all u need a minumum of 5,000 posts to bet. this was instituted by mods to prevent noobies from going into karmic debt too soon and leaving ef with a sour taste.

is that a new thing cuz i was betting a long time b4 i had 5000 posts, just go to the msg listing game and see if it lets you bet

when u hit 5000 bet all your karma. u cant get the crowns without some risk. u can always get more. u could start an alcatraz karma pity thread.

at least you bond your karma to make karma to replace losses

and keeps his on hand stash low so he doesn't lose much when he 'rewards' a post

It only costs 1,000 to pull a bond early, so I don't mind yanking one if I see a game I like.

Yeah, you do. But if it was worth pulling a bond for I should make more if I win whatever event it is I'm betting on. You can only put 999,999 in each bond, so you forfeit just under 12,000 k if you pull it early.

You should just log into his account and transfer some bonds over into your name. I'm sure he wouldn't mind lol.
